Mark C. Leffler

Mark is a shareholder and Chief Counsel of the Boleman Law Firm. Mark has been selected as a member of “Virginia’s Legal Elite” for 2007, 2008 and 2009 in the bankruptcy practice category by Virginia Business magazine. He earned his B.S. degree from Eastern Mennonite College in Harrisonburg, VA, and his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, PA.

 Mark is a member of the Virginia State Bar and currently serves on the governing council of the Virginia Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Section. He has authored a number of professional articles on bankruptcy law and presently serves as the Editor for the Virginia State Bar’s Bankruptcy Law News. Mark is also a frequent speaker for professional associations, including serving as a panelist and author for the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees’ Conference (NACTT) annual conference in 2006 and 2009. Recently he was a featured speaker on Chapter 13 bankruptcy at the annual Virginia Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Conference. He served as a panelist and author from 2005 through 2007 at the Virginia CLE’s Annual Advanced Consumer Bankruptcy seminars. Mark is an alumni of the NACTT’s Advanced Consumer Bankruptcy Practice Institute and is a member of the NACTT Academy for Consumer Bankruptcy Education. Locally, he has served on the Local Rules Committee of the Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and on the Richmond Bankruptcy Court’s Liaison Committee.
